The branch was formed in 1971 and is the second largest in California with a current active membership of 3,524.<\/p><p>GGB hosts monthly dinner meetings that include presentations on a variety of local infrastructure projects, innovative products and materials, emerging technologies, and discussions on important topics affecting the community.<\/p><p>The goal of GGB is to promote the civil engineering profession, develop civil engineering leaders, advocate infrastructure and environmental stewardship, and provide opportunities for professional networking.
