NOTICE OF REGION 9 OPENING FOR <\/span><\/h1>\n

GOVERNOR FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO SECTION<\/span><\/h1>\n

Nominations are due by December 1, 2024<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

ASCE Region 9 invites nominations for one Region 9 Governor from the San Francisco Section position for a three-year term beginning October 1, 2025. This is an elected position with voting occurring during May 2025, concurrent with the Society elections. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

To be considered for the Governor position, you must be a Society member in good standing and have an Address of Record within the Section being represented. It is encouraged that nominees also have prior service as a Branch or Section leader or a member of a Society-level Committee including demonstrated leadership skills. A Letter of Intent to apply for this elected office must be submitted not later than December 1, 2024, to the Region 9 Nominating Committee Chair: Tapas Dutta, P.E., tdutta@cox.net<\/a>, (949) 278-7748 and to Society Staff: Wendy Dinwiddie, WDinwiddie@asce.org<\/a>. Please contact the Chair for any questions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the following documents are needed: (1) Signed Governor Commitment document<\/span><\/span><\/a>; (2) Biographical Statement not to exceed 200 words; (3) Vision Statement not to exceed 200 words; and (4) a head shot color photograph.<\/span><\/p>\n
